ABC7 was forced to broadcast the daily afternoon news outside of its Glendale studio after a bomb threat was issued Wednesday.

An anonymous caller notified the station at 1:52 p.m., saying that several bombs were planted all over the building, which is located at 500 Circle Seven Drive, just off Flower Street. The other buildings located in the area were evacuated, as well, ABC10 News reported.

The staff of Channel 7 was evacuated and waited outside as the search for the bombs continued. Officers handling bomb-sniffing dogs went around the building, where the staff of ABC's West Coast team is based.

"We've never done this before ... I've never been in a situation like this before. What you've been seeing on social media, what you've been hearing is true. ABC7 is under a bomb threat, and as a result, we have evacuated the building," news reporter David Ono said as he reported from the building's lawn, according to ABC10 News.

"We can't be in the studio, we can't utilize a lot of our facilities, but what we have done is mobilized our entire staff, brought them out here. We're literally sitting on the lawn, ready to give you the news as best as we can give you the news."

The team situated outside the building did not treat the situation heavily.

"It's neat not to just forecast the weather, but actually be in it," the weatherman Dallas Raines said during his forecast in the middle of the 90-degree weather, the Associated Press reported.

The search continued towards the other buildings as well, but no suspicious evidence was recovered. An all-clear alert was announced at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.
