Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jarius Wright is likely to miss a game or two, according to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport.

Wright missed practice Wednesday due to a hand injury, according to Chris Tomasson of TwinCities.com. While he is not the number one receiver for the Vikings, he could be missed against the Denver Broncos. Wright just signed a four-year extension with Minnesota in early September. The Vikings have a ton of depth at the wide receiver position, according to Tomasson.

With Wright out, expect Mike Wallace and Charles Johnson to have bigger games. Wallace has been targeted 14 times this season and he has caught 12 of those passes for 150 yards. Johnson has been targeted less, with eight passes. Both receivers will likely see more opportunities this weekend.

Wallace can be a big time receiver, as last season he scored 10 touchdowns for the Miami Dolphins. Johnson and Wallace will likely look to be quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's top targets this Sunday.

It could prove to be a tough test for Minnesota to move the ball against the Broncos. The Broncos have the best defense in the NFL in terms of yards given up per game. Adrian Peterson will likely look to pick up where he left off last week, rushing for 126 yards and two touchdowns, but if the Vikings fall behind Peyton Manning and the Broncos, they will have to let Bridgewater sling it.

Wright's absence may not be a detrimental impact for the Vikings, but they will likely need players like Wallace and Johnson to step up in his absence.
