Fans of the Caped Crusader may want to pay attention to New York Comic Con this year. Longtime Batman film executive producer Michael Uslan is teasing big news at this year's convention, ComicBook.com reports.

Uslan dropped the pre-news tease while appearing on the Fan Theory podcast which you can listen to by clicking here.

Those planning on attending New York Comic Con may have a tough time nailing down the exact when and where of the Batman announcement. As of now, there are several Batman-centered panels planned for NYCC, including one focusing on "The Dark Knight" and another on the "Bat-Universe." There's even a panel centered on the "Batman: Bad Blood" animated feature film. None of those are clear launching pads for the "big announcement incoming."

Having said that, "The Dark Knight" is a source of inspiration for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," so if we had to bet on it, we'd place our wager there. Then again, Warner Bros. Television also has its own panel so if the announcement is actually TV related (which we doubt), then it would likely drop then. What's a Ben Affleck fan to do?

Basically, we have no idea when or where to look for the big news. Just keep your ears and eyes open and we'll update you as soon as we know more.

New York Comic Con will take place from Oct. 8-11. "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
