Fashionistas aren't showing any love for the latest Dolce & Gabbana handbag design. Priced at $2,975, the updated Sicily bag was unveiled during the fashion label's Viva La Mamma runway show, which featured a collection celebrating family and motherhood. However, Viva La Mamma may as well have been translated to "Long Live the Wicked One," according to Jezebel.

The handbag features a figure of a mother and her children, which Jezebel said was "hideously drawn." Other fashion fans also criticized the design, expressing their disgust on the site.

"It looks like those stupid stick families people insist on sticking onto their SUVs," said someone in Jezebel's comments section.

"That looks like something a kindergarten teacher would pick up at Dress Barn," said another person.

"Oh, but to have the kind of money that makes you giggle as you buy ridiculous shit," stated another person.

Some fashionistas also ranted about it on Twitter.

This isn't the first time a classic handbag was updated with portrait illustrations that were slammed by critics. Kanye West gifted his wife, Kim Kardashian, a Hermès handbag with a hand-painted image of a naked man and woman. The artwork was done by George Condo, whose works are on display at the Guggenheim and Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art. The Hermès fetched $40,000 without the portrait, but when the reality TV star shared it on her Instagram account, it received thousands of negative comments, according to Daily Mail.

Back in March, when Dolce & Gabbana presented the Viva La Mamma collection at the fashion runway, the concept also received criticisms for its narrow-minded view of motherhood, according to Time.
