Early Wednesday morning, Kim Zolciak suffered a mini stroke but she was released from the hospital just a few days later. The former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star is currently competing on "Dancing With The Stars," and people began to worry if this would affect her time on the show, or if she would be better off taking a break following the health scare.

With her husband, Kroy Biermann, and dancing partner, Tony Dovolani, by her side, Zolciak was able to keep a positive attitude, and is determined to get back on the dance floor. "I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the past few days," she said in a statement given to E! News by her rep Jack Ketsoyan. "I am now home with my family, resting and taking care of my health. I can't express enough how much I love dancing and this whole experience, and I hope this will not be the end of dancing."

Dovolani couldn't be more proud of how she handled her recovery and hopes she will be able to continue on the show. "After spending only a few weeks with Kim, it is evident of how much of a fighter she is," he said in a statement to People. "Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and it's amazing to see the love and support of her family. We are hoping for a speedy recovery."

ABC has not yet commented on her return.
