Canadian comedian Nicole Arbour made an appearance on "The View" on Wednesday and tried to defend her viral "Dear Fat People" video, People reported. However, Arbour got slammed by the hosts, who called her out for fat-shaming and bullying overweight and obese people with her rant.

"So you know a lot of people were offended. Are you surprised, do you understand why people are offended by it?" co-host Whoopi Goldberg asked Arbour.

"I think I'm the most offended by my hair in that video," Arbour said, "if I would've known it would go viral..."

"Babe, babe," Goldberg interrupts. "You're here this is your shot. So did you expect to offend people?"

Arbour maintained her stance, which is that her video was meant to be funny and was supposed to be taken as satire.

"I'm just being silly," Arbour said. "I'm just having a bit of fun."

Co-host Joy Behar interrupted her and challenged Arbour's other defense of the video, where she says she hoped that her video would inspire overweight or obese people to lose weight.

"You sort of hide behind this 'well it's not healthy,'" Behar said. "That's bull and you know it. You don't care about their health, come on."

Arbour repeated that her video was meant as satire, but co-host Michelle Collins wasn't buying it either.

"But you're saying satire and listen, we're comedians here," Collins said. "I watch it and I'm like, 'where is the satire?' You're like a skinny blonde girl, some of us here have struggled with weight problems. Watching you say it, it's borderline bullying to us."
