Kate Gosselin finds it hard to believe that all these breakup rumors about her and millionaire "boyfriend" Jeff Prescott are going around when they were never dating in the first place.

News broke on Wednesday that the 40-year-old mom of eight had been dumped by Prescott, but Gosselin, once again, is denying that the two were ever an item. "Sorry guys. You've been 'duped' by the tabloids again!" she tweeted. "There was no breakup recently/at all. Gotta b in a relationship in order 2 'break up'!"

The original reports came from a source who told Entertainment Tonight that Prescott, who had apparently been in a relationship with Gosselin since January, didn't want the "increased exposure" that her new show "Kate Plus 8" would bring. They also said that he had already moved on to a 26-year-old mystery woman from Belarus.

It's hard to tell now if the two were ever even dating, as this isn't the first time Gosselin is denying things. Rumors started to go around back in June that she was engaged to Prescott because she was sporting a new ring on her finger, but Gosselin took to Twitter once again to shut these rumors down. "Fyi: I'm not engaged-not even dating any1," she wrote at the time. "Loved the ring so I put it on myself 4 my bday-Had 2have something abt that # to make me smile #40."
