Chris Brown opened up to Jet magazine about everything in his personal life from his relationship with girlfriend Karrueche Tran and Rihanna to overcoming his anger issues to his "beef' with Jay Z, the Daily News reports.

In the rare and personal interview the "Love More" singer told Jet that he often feels like the public judges him a lot more harshly than other celebrities, like Jay Z for an example. The "Magna Carta" rapper admitted to stabbing record producer Lace "Un" Rivera in 1999 but Brown feels Jay Z has been given a "pass."

"No disrespect, because I'm a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that [Jay Z] stabbed somebody and sold drugs," he said. "He gets a pass."

The 24-year-old told the magazine that he wants to move on and make amends for his past. Brown's reputation suffered a huge blow after the 2009 assault on on-again/off-again girlfriend Rihanna. He also admitted that he is trying to work on his temper.

"You have to go through the struggle before you can get to the good part," Brown said. "I don't try to lash out at people or be as mad or impulsive as I used to be. I got to the point where it's only so much you can take from the master, you feel me? I've taken my fair share of lashings."

He also opened up about his current relationship with Rihanna and Tran, identifying with Trayvon Martin and the "negative news" the media constantly reports on him.

On his love triangle:

"Relationships are the most difficult part. That's why I was honest with those two girls and I put out that video. My ex and I broke up because of the 'situation' and she moved on. I fell in love with another girl. Then my ex came back, so it was like, 'What is a man to do?' I told them both the truth. I didn't do the sucker role."

On the constant media attention:

"The media is full of yellow journalism. A lot of things I say, they will flip it. Instead of them getting off on all the positive stuff I do, they will bring out the negative and draw out that story."

On Trayvon Martin:

"I identify with Trayvon 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism. This generation is so used to racism that it's normal; we don't care. We aren't on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as n**as."
