Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian are expecting their first child together. A source close the couple told Us Weekly that Johnson and Hashian, who have been together for nine years, "are so excited" about the upcoming addition to their family.
The 43-year-old "Fast & Furious" actor already has a 14-year-old daughter, Simone, with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
The baby is due sometime in January, reported Radar Online.
"Dwayne and Lauren couldn't be more thrilled," said the insider. "They've been rock solid for about nine years now and felt it was time to expand their family. Lauren's brother is also expecting a baby, so the entire family is overjoyed!"
During a recent interview with Esquire magazine, Johnson admitted that he wanted reporters to ask more questions about his personal life, including how he balances work and time with his girlfriend and teenage daughter.
"We do these stories and we talk so much about the business end, the success end, but then Lauren isn't mentioned and my daughter isn't mentioned," he said. "I always like making sure we find the balance and my home life is in there and Lauren Hashian is in there and my daughter is in there. With all the cool s--t and success that I've been lucky enough to get? That doesn't happen unless the home life is solid."
Neither Johnson nor Hashian have commented on the pregnancy reports.
The former wrestler is also the proud papa of two newly adopted French Bulldog puppies, Brutus and Hobbs. Johnson posted a photo of them on his Instagram account and detailed how he had to rescue one of the dogs earlier this month when it nearly drowned in his swimming pool.
"We just decided to add two new members to our Johnson family. Baby French Bulldogs. In my right hand is BRUTUS and in my left hand is HOBBS. Bring them home and immediately take them outside so they can start learning how to 'handle their business and potty like big boys'. I set them both down and they both take off in a full sprint and fall right into the deep end of our pool. HOBBS immediately starts doggy paddling while BRUTUS (like a brick) sink heads first to the bottom of the pool," he posted on Instagram.
