Apple has pushed the update to its popular iOS operating system, iOS 7. According to Mixpanel's data set of 2.75 million Apple mobile users, by Wednesday afternoon nearly 48 percent of users had adopted the operating system update. Users of from all walks of life took to Twitter and other social media to voice their opinions on the complete redesign from the company. With the new iOS sweeping the world, now seems as good a time as any to give a rundown of some of the top features of the new iOS 7 features that have gone largely unnoticed until now, courtesy of Information Week.

Blocking: Almost everyone has had to suffer the notifications of a text message, phone call or dreaded group text from unwanted contacts. Although many believe this feature should have been created back in 2007 when the iPhone debuted, iOS 7 has finally offered users a way to block unwanted phone calls.

Automatic App Updates: An iPhone is not good without a bevy of Apps working for you. Once you have all of these Apps, they need to stay up to date. Until now, the best way to do that was to constantly check the App store for any new updates. Now Apple will allow users to automatically update all of their apps as soon as there is an update to push.

New Sounds: This may seem like a trivial feature, but iOS 7 comes with an entirely new soundboard of text and ring tones. Not only does your iPhone get to look completely different, you can make it sound brand new too, if you'd like. Of course if you don't want to get used to another noise alerting you every day, you can select any of the previous tones or sounds in the "Classics" menu.

Infinite Folders: iOS 7 now allows users to put as many Apps as they'd like into folders. Are you tired of having to limit how many games you have in your games folder? Well now that's not a concern anymore.

Notifications Across All Devices: Previously, if you received a notification on your iPad, you would need to also check and remove the badge from your iPhone that contains the same app. Now iOS 7 will recognize when one notification has been read and will get rid of it across all devices.
