Apple launched the latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 7 on Wednesday. Since it's release, the company's services have tried to hold up against the millions of customers clamoring to download the new design, which the company boasts is one of the most revolutionary things to happen to the iPhone and iPad since the launching of the App Store back in 2008.  Unfortunately, not everyone has managed to go through with the download so smoothly.

Most users took to Twitter to express wither their disappointment with the new iOS, but other simply tweeted about the fact that they couldn't seem to download the program. Many users reported installation issues wherein a warning error pop-up told them "software update failed." Others were told their device was unable to connect to the iTunes Store to update the apps.

Meanwhile, users from different countries experienced difficulty as well. The culprit could be the first day download traffic, according to International Business Times. With millions of users all trying to set up their mobile devices with the new iOS 7 on the first day of its release, the servers were likely overloaded with traffic. Others who successfully downloaded the iOS 7 update were then confronted with their device's inability to install and were informed that "Software Update is unavailable at this time."

Even those who download the operating system successfully are having trouble, with many complaining that some of the new features eat the battery life on their device. Thos users are encouraged to turn off some of the chunkier features they don't plan on using like the Control Center or iTunes Radio.

Another reason users might want to turn off their Control Center is simply because, after only 24 hours, users discovered a way to bypass a person's home screen lock using the Control Center, which can be accessed without even punching in the four-digit security code.

Tell us what you think. Did you have trouble downloading the iOS 7 update? If not, are you pleased with it?
