Journey, an adorable pup who has been hopping his way around like a Kangaroo, has finally been fitted with special prosthetic legs.

The pup was born in South Korea and is a mix of Shiba Inu and Jundo breeds.

Journey and her siblings were set on fire, and she is the sole survivor. She was brought to the U.S. on April 27 by a woman from New York, according to MEOW Cat Rescue's official website.

MEOW Cat Rescue added that Journey suffered serious injuries to her front paws and that her left paw is almost entirely gone, "making it difficult for her to get around," according to the Daily Mail.

The pup's injuries made it hard and painful for her to walk, so she resorted to hopping in her hind paws "like a kangaroo."

Journey has spent the past few months under the care of Marilyn Hendrickson, MEOW Cat Rescue's director of donations, Independent reported.

The pup had to undergo a small amputation on her right front paw in order for the prosthetics to fit more perfectly on her.

Hendrickson said they have been slowly increasing the time Journey spends in her prosthetics to build up muscles. She remains on the mend and now loves running in her paws, and she will even run her first 5K race in October ABC News reported.
