On Friday at a games expo in Dubai, the "Street Fighter V" team introduced a new character that will join the ranks of beloved franchise characters like Ken, Ryu and Chun Li, according to the Koalition.

"Rashid of the Turbulent Winds" will join Street Fighter V's new roster, and just as his name suggests, he'll bring an assortment of wind based moves into the fray.

Game producer Yoshinori Ono did the honors of unveiling Rashid, showing off his special combination of moves and combos, according to Polygon.

The announcement of Rashid follows the announcement of Necalli, another new character to the series.

Dragon Ball Z fans will note that Necali can power himself up in a style similar to that of a "Super Saiyan," according to Attack of the Fan Boy.

Oddly enough, Rashid was also announced shortly after the Tekken franchise revealed its first Middle Eastern character, Shaheed.

M. Bison, Nash, Cammy, Vega, R. Mika and Birdie have also been announced as part of the game's initial 16-character roster.

The game has a release date for Playstation 4 and PC set for sometime in the spring of 2016, and players can expect more details on the game, character roster and possible DLC as the game approaches completion.
