During a speech at the National Press Club on Thursday, Bobby Jindal unleashed a tirade of insults at Donald Trump, according to ABC NewsGov. Jindal (R-La.) called Trump an "egomaniacal madman," and "entertaining narcissist," even a "non-serious carnival act." He said Trump is "full of foolishness and nonsense," a "power-hungry shark" who "eats whatever is in front of him."

Jindal also compared Trump to a reality TV star, which - to be fair - he is. "Just because a lot of people like watching Kim Kardashian, we wouldn't put her in the White House, either," he said.

Trump was not afraid to respond. "I only respond to people that register more than 1 percent in the polls. I never thought he had a chance and I've been proven right," he said on Twitter.

"Donald Trump is for Donald Trump. He believes in nothing other than himself. He's not a liberal, he's not a moderate, and he's not a conservative. He's not a Republican, Democrat or independent. He's not for anything or against anything. Issues and policies and ideals are not important to him. He's for Donald," Jindal said, according to Inquisitr.

Jindal is no longer willing to spend time on Trump. "The silly summer season is over. It's time to get serious about saving our country. It's time to send Donald Trump back to reality TV," he said, according to The Kansas City Star.
