Revenge Season 3: A Bloody Wedding; Who Shot Emily?

We don’t know a whole a lot about Emily’s wedding in Season 3 of Revenge. However, one thing is definite about the nuptials—there will be blood.

In a promo recently posted on the “Revenge” Faceook page, Emily (Emily VanCamp) is holding black roses in her wedding dress. The roses have thorns on them and they’ve pricked her, causing blood to run down her hand.

This isn’t the first instance in which we’ve seen Emily bleed in a wedding dress. During the ABC preview for the Season 3 premiere, Emily is on a boat apologizing to someone—and then this happens.

So who shot er? Was it Daniel (Josh Bowman) because he realized Emily doesn’t really love him? Or maybe Victoria (Madeleine Stowe)? (For any number of reasons.) Or perhaps its Jack (Nick Weschler)? It’s a possibility since Jack will be a “darker” character this season, reports Hollywood LIfe.

According to an interview, new showrunner Sunil Nayar did with Entertainment Weekly, Jack comes back to the Hamptons, still looking for something.

“He has an absolute lot to synthesize for himself and, especially as a person who is so inherently moral and good, to have so much bad and betrayal enacted upon him has been a journey,” Nayar said. “And when we see him in the premiere, he’s obviously still on that journey, but also has asked himself a lot of questions and come up with answers to a few.”

Nayar also teased fans “will get a sense” for the reason behind Jack’s return. However, she did not offer up any more.

Let’s hope Jack isn’t the one who shot Emily. They should be together and shooting her may make that difficult.
