Despite the rumors going around that Justin Bieber could be dating Xenia Deli, who stars in his new video, he wanted to make sure people understood exactly why he isn't dating at the moment.

Monday morning, the 21-year-old singer opened up to Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O. about his love life and how he hasn't dated anyone since he and Selena Gomez broke up.

"I haven't been in a relationship for a while now," he explained. "I'm chilling and just hanging out. I'm a relationship type of guy. I love to be in love, and I love cuddling. I love all that stuff. I got my heart broken. I'm just trying to let that heal up."

Just last week, a fan noticed that "Selena" was spray-painted in graffiti on the wall at the skate park in his video for "What Do You Mean," according to Entertainment Tonight. Once people saw the screenshot, they wondered if this was some sort of message to his ex.

Jackie O. decided to go right ahead and ask him about this, to which he replied, "I think that might be fake. It wasn't me that did that."

This isn't the first time Bieber has opened up about his heartbreaking relationship with Gomez. Last month, he appeared on "Elvis Duran and The Morning Show" and explained how he has a hard time trusting people.

"I've trusted people who I probably shouldn't have trusted before and they've hurt me," he said. "I'm a pretty sensitive guy, so I'll lay it all on the line, and they'll kind of pull it. So now I'm figuring out there's certain people I can't do that with."

He even told Ryan Seacrest on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" earlier this year that a lot of the inspiration for this album and his new songs came from Gomez.

"It was a long relationship that created heartbreak and created happiness and a lot of different emotions that I wanted to write about," he revealed. "There's a lot of that on this album."
