Two brothers were killed in an execution-style shooting while working at their father's convenience store in Palmetto, Fla., Monday afternoon.

Khasem Yousef, 23, and Faares Yousef, 17, were inside Snappy's Kwick Mart between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m. when the suspect allegedly came inside the store and picked up a few items as if he were a regular customer, said Palmetto Police Chief Scott Tyler, according to the New York Daily News.

"Then he walks up to the counter like he was going to pay and shoots them, execution-style," said Tyler. "It was pretty cold-blooded."

Using video surveillance from the crime scene, the Palmetto Police Department were able to identify the gunman as 25-year-old Devin Chandler, reported the Daily Mail. According to records obtained from the Department of Corrections, Chandler is a convicted felon who was released from prison in 2011 after serving less than two years on a three-year sentence for attempted armed robbery.

Police were tipped off about the incident after a customer entered the store and found the bodies.

Authorities believe Chandler is driving a blue Chevy Impala, and now have an arrest warrant charging him with two counts of homicide and one county of armed robbery, according to USA Today.

"The motive for these senseless killings seems to be robbery," said Tyler, expressing hope that police will be able to arrest the convicted felon without further incident.

The brothers' family was hit hard by the incident with one family member hoping Chandler receives just punishment for his actions.

"I just wish he gets killed, or goes to prison for life or something," said the brothers' cousin, Omar Sureiman.

The family will hold a funeral for the slain brothers Tuesday following Muslim tradition.

The family is also offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to Chandler's arrest and conviction.
