Is Kate Middleton ready for royal baby number two already? On the cover of the latest issue of Life &Style magazine there's a story attracting a lot of attention. According to the celebrity gossip magazine Kate Middleton and Prince William are already thinking about expanding their family with a second royal birth.

Middleton gave birth to Prince George on July 22, 2013 and the family has been enjoying their time with the baby boy.

"William and Kate are very keen to start trying for baby No. 2," a source told Life & Style, Hollywood Life reports. "They'd be thrilled if Kate were pregnant by Christmas. William and Kate will be splitting their time during the holidays with Kate's family and the queen in Sandrigham House in Norfolk, so it would be the perfect moment for an announcement."

Does that mean there could be another royal baby countdown soon? The world went crazy over the summer preparing for Prince George's arrival. Middleton and Prince William were constantly making headlines as people anxiously waited for a glimpse of their first child.

Palace expert Jerramy Fine told Life & Style that the couple's rush to have another child isn't so they could add heirs to the throne but because of the close bond they both have with their families.

"Royal or not, all couples want to mirror the special bond they had with their own siblings," Fine said. "William, who has one younger brother, has said in the past that he definitely wants two children, while Kate, who has a younger sister and a younger brother, has told friend that she hopes to have at least three."

The source told the magazine that the couple knows their time with the baby will go by fast and wants to have a second child by next year "so they can deal with it all at the same time."

Prince George has truly been a blessing to the entire family. It was reported that Middleton is now a lot closer to her mom, Carole Middleton, since giving birth. According to Hollywood Life, she helped her daughter out tremendously in the first weeks following the baby's arrival.

"The duke and duchess are so grateful," a source said, "They plan to treat Kate's parents to a break in Paris in October to say thank you. First they have the big move to London to make. There's a lot on their plate at the moment but they're looking forward to this fresh start as a family."
