Kate Middleton made her first public appearance just five weeks since giving birth to Prince George. The 31-year-old Duchess looked great in a pair of black skinny jeans, polka-dot shirt and a fitted blazer at the Aug. 30 event with her husband Prince William but according to a source she is eager to slim down even more.

A source told Entertainment Wise that even though the Duchess looks great she is still self-conscious about her body and is trying to keep active to help her drop the baby weight.

"She seemed genuinely interested in doing some walking. Especially after the baby, she wants to get back into shape," Park Warden Will Stewart said. "I said, 'You don't need to worry about that!' She looked great."

The Angelsey race event was the couple's first appearance since leaving St. Mary's Hospital in London with the royal baby. They were greeted by about 200 people who all wanted to know how the little Prince was doing.

"He is very well," the Duchess told the crowd adding that he was at home with her mom, Carole Middleton. "He's sleeping at the moment."

A source close to the family told US Weekly that the Duchess didn't gain that much weight while she was pregnant and revealed that Middleton had "hardly done anything to lose the weight... she looks incredible."

"A few weeks after George was born, you could hardly tell she had just given birth," the source continued. "Kate's still breastfeeding and the small weight she gained while pregnant has just melted off. She's not dieting. After giving birth, she did continue with her yoga."

While she was pregnant the Duchess was spotted taking the couple's dog Lupo for a walk and also had prenatal yoga sessions with a private instructor.
