BBC has released a teaser trailer for "The Gamechangers," featuring Daniel Radcliffe as Sam Houser, the co-founder and president of video game developer Rockstar Games, during his legal battle over the Grand Theft Auto franchise, according to The Independent.

The film follows the story of a "British genius behind the most lucrative video game ever," who goes head-to-head with a "man on a moral mission," Jack Thompson, a Christian lawyer played by Bill Paxton, who leads the campaign against the controversial game and its graphic depictions of violence and sex.

Rockstar was reportedly considering filing a lawsuit against BBC in May for trademark infringement. The BBC press release reads: "This drama is for an adult audience and has not been authorised by the producers of Grand Theft Auto. Rather, it is based on court documents and interviews with many of those involved in the real events behind this compelling story," The Guardian reported.

The 90-minute drama is written by James Wood, directed by Owen Harris and produced by Jim Spencer. "The Gamechangers" is slated to air on BBC Two on Sept. 15 at 9 p.m.
