Daisy Johnson will have her work cut out for her when she starts the search for fellow Inhumans in the third season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

"S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Chloe Bennet and Clark Gregg introduced the first "approved" promo for the new season at Yahoo that features Daisy's (Bennet) first recruit and another shadowy Inhuman figure that looks like an overgrown porcupine.

The promo also teases some potential hostility between Daisy's partner in the Secret Warriors project, Mack (Henry Simmons), and the team's other resident Inhuman, Lincoln (Luke Mitchell).

"I'm not scared of you," Mack declares.

"You should be," Lincoln responds.

Noticeably missing from the 30-second clip Elizabeth Henstridge's scientist Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), who disappeared inside the giant Kree stone at the end of last season. Her best friend Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) looked determined to find her though as he walked through the door carrying a big gun.

The vacationing Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) and her ex-husband Andrew (Blair Underwood) are also absence. It's unclear when or if May will return to S.H.I.E.L.D. after her time off.

Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) makes a brief appearance as she works to come back from her brutal torture session with Grant Ward. She's seen training with her trademark nunchucks. Her boyfriend Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) is out in the field with Daisy and Mack.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will premiere its third season on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
