Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy is considering leaving the Premier League club, according to Bleacher Report. The French International has seen his minutes in the starting 11 drastically fade due to the rising play of Hector Bellerin.

With Bellerin taking over the starting job since the season began, Debuchy must take advantage of the current International Friendlies to showcase his talent. Debuchy admitted that he enjoys being at Arsenal, yet struggles with not being in the starting line-up, according to Metro.uk.

"It was a surprise and a disappointment. Let's say it [leaving] crossed my mind. But I want to be at Arsenal and to take my place" Debuchy stated.

Arsenal sit in sixth place in the Premier League table with a record of 2-1-1 and seven points. Debuchy is a solid defender who offers a bit of pace with his game. Arsene Wenger, manager of Arsenal, is a tough man to please and if he does not like what he sees in Debuchy, then a transfer may happen in January.

For the time being, Debuchy is staying at Arsenal and will look for opportunities to showcase his talents and work back into the Starting XI for Wenger
