A daycare "fight club" has been disbanded in New Jersey and the two daycare workers hired to watch the 4 to 6 year olds have been arrested.

Lightbridge Academy in Cranford was the setting for the daycare workers-led fight club, run by Erica Kenny, 22, and Chanese White, 28. The pair has been charged with fourth-degree child abuse for running the fight club out of their two classrooms, allegedly encouraging and instigating the fights between the toddlers,  according to News Max.

In addition, Kenny faces a child endangerment charge.

The Union County Prosecutor's Office sent a press release stating one of the women is accused of "recording video of the fights with her cell phone and sharing the video clips with several friends on social media via the Snapchat app," according to People. "She was instigating fights among children ages 4-6."

"In the video clips, Kenny can be heard referencing the activity as 'Fight Club,' quoting from the book and the movie," the press release continues, noting that she encouraged "the children to engage each other physically. Approximately a dozen boys and girls at the daycare center can be seen in the video clips shoving each other to the ground and attempting to strike each other."

The women, fired from the daycare, are expected to appear in court on Friday. White faces up to 18 months in prison, while Kenny faces five years.

Eliana Meira Rantz had sent her two young children to The Light Academy just last year. Rantz is the mother of Izzy, 3, and Uri, 19 months. "It's just quite shocking," she told the Inquisitr on Wednesday. "I'm now staying home with the kiddos and working part time. You can't trust anybody."
