One Marine died while nine other people were hurt when a helicopter came down hard at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.

The CH-53E helicopter landed hard while a military training exercise took place around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Capt. Ryan Elizabeth Alvis said in a statement, according to the Associated Press.

Alvis added that the dead marine's name will not be disclosed for 24 hours. His actual cause of death and how the marine actually died during the incident is also yet to be determined.

A number who were injured were immediately taken to the Naval Hospital in Camp Lejeune, while others were taken Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, N.C. One was sent to the Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, according to WBIR Channel 10.

As of this writing, the landing is still being investigated. No other details were made available as of this time.
