A Maryland man burned down a house in Glen Burnie in a jealous rage - then went back to the site and took "fire selfies" in front of the devastation, court documents revealed.

Justin Michael Clum, 26, of Pasadena, Calif. and his girlfriend were drinking vodka during the early hours of July 17 when she told him that he had a sexual encounter with another man.

Based on court documents, the man did not respond well as he began to freak out and punch himself in the face. He then took his girlfriend with him to her paramour's house, poured gasoline on the porch and set the house on fire, The Washington Post reported.

Three people were inside the blazing house - a man, a woman and their 15-year-old daughter - but all three were able to escape unharmed, police said. The man who had a sexual encounter with Clum's girlfriend was not home when the fire took place.

Clum and his girlfriend then went to the methadone clinic after the fire and waited there until opening time. They then drove back to the scene after he received methadone and started to take pictures of himself, which the girlfriend dubbed as "fire selfies," in front of the ruins using his cellphone, according to the Capital Gazette.

Clum was arrested on Saturday, charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder, arson and other charges and held on a $1 million bond, according to the Associated Press.
