Manchester United and David De Gea finally solved their long-winded relationship. Fox Sports reported today that De Gea is reportedly heading back to Spain to play for La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid. In exchange for De Gea, United receives £29million and Costa Rican International goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

Since Summer began, reports and rumors flooded out of United's camp about De Gea and his want to leave the club, according to BBC Sport.

The move makes all parties involved finally breathe a sigh of relief. United boss Louis Van Gaal knew that a move for De Gea was coming, and now that it has, the club can finally look forward instead of being held up.

Interesting enough, Metro.co.uk reported that Navas was looking to get out of town from Madrid anyway. However, he had not planned on being roped into the De Gea deal and now finds himself heading to the United Kingdom. It is safe to assume that Navas was aware of De Gea coming in and wanted to find a new home that would pay well and give him playing time.

Manchester United holds two terrific goalkeepers now, Navas and Argentine Sergio Romero. Romero has not played well in recent matches, especially in the 2-1 loss to Swansea City this past weekend. It appears that United find themselves in a goalkeeper battle with two top players.

Both Madrid and United are looking to challenge the other major European clubs this season in UEFA Champions League play. With new goalkeepers for both squads, each side has a solid chance at making the later stages of the tournament.
