San Antonio Spurs veteran Tim Duncan has had a summer filled with divorce chatter and rumors of being gay.  As NBA training camps begin later this month and Tim prepares to step back into the national spotlight, here are three known things:

1)    Tim and his wife, Amy, were officially divorced in a secret hearing on Aug. 20, according to the San Antonio Express-News.  Notice of the hearing didn't appear on the Bexar County Courthouse public docket because both parties wanted a private hearing.  Per the request of Tim's attorney, Judge David A. Canales granted the divorce during a private hearing at the offices of Tim's legal team - both parties were present.

Canales told The Express-News that the hearing wasn't held in public because "privacy" was a major concern.

2)    The rumor of Tim being gay or bisexual appears to have originated with Hollywood Street King, an online gossip blog.  HSK reports an unidentified source as saying that Amy alleged during a hearing in July that Tim was having an affair with a longtime male college friend, who Tim attended Wake Forest University with.

"Amy treated Tim like a b---- throughout their marriage because she knew he was f---ing his BFF," the source said, according to HSK.  "Tim knows Amy was cheating on him but he's willing to give her whatever she wants, because he doesn't want Amy to tell the world that he's bisexual."

It's worth noting that HSK is the only website to publish the allegation that Tim is bisexual.  Numerous online websites cited HSK's article, but the veracity of the report hasn't been confirmed nor the story reported by any other media outlet.

Neither Tim nor Amy has commented on the report.

3)    Tim and Amy filed for divorce on March 27, citing the marriage as "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personality," according to The Express-News.  Once college sweethearts at Wake Forest, Tim and Amy had been married for 12 years and have two children together.
