Two planes collided in the air over Switzerland Sunday, killing one of the pilots and marking the second fatal air show in Europe in as little as two days.

One plane crashed into another during the Dittingen Air Show, with one of the pilots dying from the collision and the other parachuting to safety, according to Blick.

There have been no reported injuries on the ground.

The third plane in formation at the event was able to safely land, and the air show was promptly canceled, USA Today reported.

Meanwhile, the death toll from Saturday's air show disaster in Shoreham is suspected to rise from seven to at least 11, with more discovered fatalities "highly likely."

Sussex assistant Chief Constable Steve Barry says that a crane will be used to remove the wreckage on Monday.

"The scene itself is incredibly large. We do need to keep an open mind, but from what we have seen at this stage, it is possible that we will find more fatalities," Barry said.

The site remains a very hazardous area, with fuel still on the plane wreckage.

The A27 will remain closed for several more days as the wreckage is cleared and the search for more missing victims continues.
