Dean McDermott owes a lot of money for the child support he's apparently failed to pay. On August 3, McDermott was served legal documents from ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace, who claims he has not paid child support for their 16-year-old son Jack for five months, according to the papers that In Touch Weekly got its hands on. The papers, which were signed July 31 before he was formally served them, state that he owes $8,700 and he only has 30 days to pay or else he could lost his driver's license or even face jail time.

McDermott, 48, is currently married to 42-year-old "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress Tori Spelling and the two have four children together. His ex-wife currently doesn't think he's all that great of a father, though.

"He's a deadbeat dad," a source told the magazine. "He never thought he'd be served."

This is quite the change from what Eustace, 51, said about her ex-husband just last year when McDermott checked into rehab to deal with some health and personal issues. At the time, she was genuinely concerned for his "well-being."

"I wish Dean only the best in his struggle to overcome the demons he has been wrestling with for many years," she told People. "So he can become the father and the man I know he wants to be. I am so hopeful that from this point on, there will be a dedicated effort to deal with this matter privately and respectfully, for the sake of all the children involved."

McDermott and Eustace got married in 1993, but split in 2006 when he left her to be with Spelling, according to the Daily Mail. Rumors have been going around about the family's money issues for a few months now, especially when they moved into a smaller home in July. Spelling even revealed on her reality show "True Tori" that they were struggling financially.

"We live paycheck to paycheck," she said in an episode. "After this ["True Tori"], I have no f--king idea if work's going to come in. Like, how am I going to support my family in six months?"
