A young woman was caught on camera stealing flowers and mementos from the grave of Alma Allerston at St. Peter's Cemetery in London, Ont., reported the Toronto Star.

The video was posted on Facebook by Allerston's daughter, Marg Medeiros, and has been viewed more than 13 million times.

"It's really heart-wrenching," said Medeiros. "We get there thinking there's flowers, it's pretty upsetting."

The camera was set up by Medeiros who claims that, since her mother's death, someone has been consistently stealing mementos, flowers and other items left at the grave, reported the Globe and Mail.

After bringing the video evidence to police, Medeiros was told that since the suspect's face is not clear, they are unable to identify her, reported Yahoo News.

The woman caught on camera is slim, blonde and appears to be in her late teens or early 20s. London police are asking for all the help they can get from the public regarding the girl's whereabouts.

"Everyone loved her, you know, she was the kind of lady that took you under her wing," said Medeiros.

"I don't get it. Now, my husband and I and sister, we're not in there now, but we will be in that plot one day, so our names are there, so I don't know if it's a personal attack on one of us three. I just don't know at this point."
