Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will serve jury duty next week in Manhattan.

Rhona Graff, senior vice president and assistant to the president of The Trump Organization, confirmed the news, adding that the mogul will report for duty on Monday, according to CNN.

Trump was fined $250 by a Manhattan judge earlier this year after he disregarded five jury summonses since 2006. According to his aides, Trump never made any appearances because he never received the notices.

The notices were sent to a building in Central Park South, which Trump owned but had never considered home, according to the New York Daily News.

"Mr. Trump's failure to appear for previous jury requests was the result of the unified court system's error in the mailing address, and not Mr. Trump's refusal to uphold his civic duty," said Michael Cohen, executive president of the Trump Organization and Trump's special counsel.

Despite the appearance, Trump's presidential campaign will not be slowed down.

"Despite the time that Mr. Trump is required to fulfill this civic obligation, the campaign will continue to go on. He is happy to comply with his civic obligation," Cohen said

Trump is set to make an appearance at the Iowa State Fair on Saturday and has pledged to provide fairgoers free rides on his personal helicopter from the parking lot, according to the New York Times.
