Miranda Lambert is moving on from her ex Blake Shelton with the help of one her best gal pals, Ashley Monroe. The two ladies enjoyed a "date night" on Thursday, snapping a cute selfie while dining out.

"I feel like I'm on to something good... #datenight," Lambert captioned the photo, using lyrics from Monroe's song, "On To Something Good."

Monroe originally posted the photo and wrote, "Date night #whoopitup."

The country singers gave a surprise performance together last month in Nashville, when Lambert joined Monroe on stage at the end of her set. They performed Lambert's "Heart Like Mine" for the Basement East audience.

The performance came on the heels of Lambert and Shelton's divorce announcement on July 20. The couple decided to split after four years of marriage.

"This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy heart that we move forward separately," they said in a statement to Us Weekly. "We are real people, with real lives, with real family, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."

The country superstars still remain friends and even helped to promote Monroe's latest album, "The Blade" with an exchange of funny tweets that had fans wondering if they had really broken up.
