The Reverend Al Sharpton never met an injustice he couldn't protest and that extends to the fictitious world of "Empire." The civil rights leader will join fashion icon Andre Leon Talley as they make a cameo in the season two premiere of the Fox hip hop drama, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Sharpton and Talley will support the imprisoned music mogul, Lucious Lyon (Terence Howard), at the outdoor "Free Lucious" concert, which will include performances by Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Gray) as well as a cage dance by Cookie (Taraji P. Henson).

"Empire" continues to add to its heap of big-name guest stars for season two. The list already includes Chris Rock, Marisa Tomei, Ludacris, Alicia Keys, Pit Bull, Common, Kelly Rowland, Lenny Kravitz and Oprah Winfrey.

The latest trailer for the new season shows Cookie and oldest Lyon son Andre (Trai Byers) going for a hostile takeover of Empire Records while Lucious is locked behind bars, but a new billionaire investor (Tomei) warns the company is nothing without Lucious Lyon.

Jamal, who was name CEO by his father, also threatens to bury his little brother Hakeem's next album. The rapper immediately slams his brother right back saying he's going to be bigger than Jamal and their father.

"Empire" kicks off its second season on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
