Michael Jordan is widely considered the greatest basketball player of all-time. There will always be debates about who is the best but most conversations start and end with MJ. LeBron James' recent string of dominance and his other worldly talent has brought up many comparisons to Jordan and because of that the two will always be linked. At MJ's Flight School Camp in Santa Barbara, California he was asked if he could beat LeBron one-on-one if they were both in their primes to which he responded "no question", according to Patrick Dorsey of ESPN.

This debate of who would win a one-on-one game between James and Jordan has actually been going on for quite a while and while we know it's not possible for it to ever happen it is a good topic for debate. Jordan was cold-blooded on the floor with a killer instinct, something many people question about LeBron. Both guys are/were all-time great basketball players and it is impossible to know what would have happened in this hypothetical game but Jordan might just be the favorite.

It was reported more than two years ago that a 49 year old Michael Jordan defeated a 19 year old Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in a game of one-on-one at Charlotte Bobcats practice so even at his advanced age Jordan is a great one-on-one player.

Other interesting tidbits from Jordan's Q&A included a part where he said he would choose Dean Smith over Phil Jackson to coach him if he had one game to play.

"Dean Smith. Fortunately Dean Smith helped me become the basketball player I am today. Phil was lucky because I was taught the game by Dean Smith," said Jordan.

Another interesting answer was when he was asked which athlete he would want to add to team Jordan he chose Mike Trout.

"I'm a big fan of [Mike] Trout, the baseball player. I absolutely love him. I wish I could hire him. But he's Nike, so I can't steal Nike's guys," said Jordan.

Michael Jordan stands at 6 foot-6 while LeBron James stands at 6 foot-8 so James would have a bit of a size advantage in a hypothetical one-on-one in their primes. When put to a vote 81 percent of people said Jordan would win the matchup out of more than 40 thousand voters which is quite a landslide victory. Jordan may be the greatest player of all time but it is very reasonable to think that LeBron is the most talented player of all time. We will never see the matchup but boy would that be fun to watch.
