Ever wonder how tech wonderboy Elon Musk spends his vacation? If you are thinking along the lines of the beach, cruise or some outdoor activity like hiking maybe, then you are sorely mistaken. Some photographs posted on his wife, Talulah Riley's Instagram, showed that they were overseas for the summer, enjoying the U.K. countryside, walking on the wing of an airborne plane.

The Tesla and SpaceX founder was shown having a "nice walk" on top of the plane, prompting his wife to ask "what could possibly go wrong?" Well, we can certainly think of several gruesome things, and it would not require a great deal of imagination. But the billionaire and his wife, who was filmed "wing-walking" herself (see video below), were obviously having fun. Even Musk's mother seemed happy for both as she posted a picture of the duo preparing for the stunt. It turned out the entire Musk family was in attendance, edging and cheering the pair on, Teslarati learned.

Wing walking is not really a new activity since it already existed in the air shows of the 1920s, Mashable reported. U.S. Air Force officers were said to have started it since it was an early practice of in-air refueling. As years passed, it sort of became a sport like skydiving as it promises thrill-seekers a truly exhilarating experience.

If one is interested to attempt Musk and company's aerial stunt, one could engage the services of the West Coast Spin Doctors in Sequim, Wash. Musk's wing walking vacation was arranged by Breitling Wingwalkers in the U.K. The company advertises a wing walking experience for £399, approximately $620, which includes the chance to fly at speeds of up to 130 mph, according to Business Insider.
