Go big or go home. "Empire" has certainly embraced the former with their ever expanding list of season two guest stars, which now includes Pitbull.

Fox announced on Thursday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that the Miami-born rapper (real name Armando Christian Perez) will appear as himself on the hip hop drama this fall and perform the song "No Doubt About It" with Jamal (played by Jussie Smollett).

The Pitbull casting comes on the heels of "Empire" co-creator Lee Daniels' announcement on Wednesday that Mariah Carey will also guest star this season. Daniels helped Carey celebrate getting her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The two previously worked together on his 2009 film, "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire."

"Empire" has not released details on what role they will play in their respective episodes, but Daniels must put top divas Carey and Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) in a room together. Priority No. 1!

Pitbull and Carey join an incredible roster of talented guest stars lined up to keep "Empire" the hottest show on television. Already onboard are Ludacris, Chris Rock, Marisa Tomei (recurring), Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, Common and last, but not least, Oprah Winfrey.

"Empire" will premiere its second season on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
