A stabbing at Spring High School in Texas on Wednesday morning has resulted in several injuries and a school lockdown, CBS reported.

At 7 a.m., the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a stabbing report at the school.

The names of individuals injured have not been released, but KHOU reported that a 16-year-old boy was one of the injured victims and witnessed two males being taken into custody at 8:15 a.m. Police have not confirmed any deaths and parents of the students affected have been notified.

Officials said two people were flown in LifeFlight helicopters to one of the Memorial Herman hospitals. One student uploaded a picture of a bloodied hallway on Twitter.

Parents were kept away from the school building as the campus was kept on lockdown as of 9:30 a.m., igniting anger and fright among worried families.

"Well, number one we're concerned about our kids. One of my kids was kind of there in the area when they seen it and they're frantic and scared, and here the police are telling us to move our vehicles," one parent told KHOU. "(My son) told me that he was scared and he wants to come home. We can all understand at this point, right?"

He also said his son described the stabbing incident to him via text messaging.

"They were walking out of the area when it happened, but they sent pictures to me of all the blood everywhere. All they texted and told me was one died and, out of the total, five were stabbed. All students," he said.

Another parent said she's also been able to communicate with her son.

"I'm just trying to make sure that my child is OK," she said. "I've actually texted and I've actually called, they are receiving phone calls.  They are in their first-period class and everything is calm."
