D.C. Shoes’ Robbie Maddison conquered a big ocean wave in Tahiti on none other than a dirt bike, according to Fox News.

Someone going surfing would usually use the sport’s typical board, but the surfing stuntman wanted to do something different for a change.

"At the end of the day, the images and footage say something pretty awesome, but the ferocity and how gnarly that thing was can't really be put into words," the daredevil told Surfer Magazine about what he at initially called “a stupid vision. “But I kept toying with it, playing with designs and concepts, and eventually it became a reality."

Tahiti shores is not the only terrain the courageous Australian has been on. He has also hopped to the peak of Arc de Triomphe at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, did a backflip across London’s tower bridge and leaped 278 feet across Greece’s Corinth Canal, according to Fox Sports.
