Another adult film actor from Los Angeles has tested positive for the AIDS-causing virus HIV.

According to Reuters, the Free Speech Coalition has confirmed porn star Rod Daily is positive test for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and is calling for his sexual partners to get tested.

The Free Speech Coalition helps insure the safety of porn actors by having them submit to frequent testing of sexually transmitted diseases.

Rod Daily, the actor's stage name, took to his Twitter account to announce he is infected with the deadly virus.

"Drumroll please!! I'm 32 years old and I'm HIV positive. Acute HIV, which means I recently was infected. For that I am blessed," Daily tweeted.

The news comes about two weeks after another porn star announced her infection. ABC New reports Cameron Bay, also a stage name, is infected with HIV.

According to the Daily Mail, Daily and Bay were "linked romantically" on adult film industry website XBiz.com. Neither Daily nor Bay has confirmed the source of their infection.

The news of the HIV infections has many saying porn actors should be legally required to use condoms while filming sex scenes. The Daily Mail reports California Assemblyman Isadore Hall is trying to pass a bill mandating the use, and believes Daily's infection shows need for better regulations for the multibillion-dollar industry.

"This is the second individual within a week and a half to contract HIV in the industry," said Hall. "There will probably be more."

Daily also believes regulations need to change, according to his posts on Twitter.

'That does not change anything though. A week later people are back at it shooting without condoms," Daily wrote.

"Just sayin be careful because that test ain't shit without a condom strapped up with it," the actor tweeted.

Do you think porn stars should be legally obligated to wear condoms while filming or does it violate their rights?
