The new Dr. Suess book, "What Pet Should I Get?" which follows the story of a brother and sister's visit to the pet store, was finally published half a century after it was originally written. In its honor, Jimmy Kimmel asked rapper Tyler, the Creator to put a modern spin on the children's book for a segment on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," according to Billboard.

Tyler obliged, rapping the verses of the entire book wearing a full Cat-in-the-Hat suit in front of a Seuss-inspired backdrop before telling Kimmel the segment was "wack." The rapper also performed three songs from his latest album, "Cherry Bomb," "Smuckers," and "Pilot," Entertainment Weekly reported.

While those performances may have been tad more spirited, there's nothing quite like watching a rapper dressed as a cartoon cat rapping lines like,"Do you see how it is when you pick out a pet? How can you make up your mind what to get?"
