Despite casting rumors, fans might still get a chance to see a full cast reunion on the Netflix series "Fuller House."

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who took turns playing Michelle Tanner for eight years on the '80s and '90s sitcom "Full House," could be reprising their role on the Netflix spin-off series. Netflix boss Ted Sarandos hinted that the twin stars have not made a final decision about their involvement on the show.

"The Olsen twins are teetering whether or not they'll be around," Sarandos said Tuesday morning at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills, Calif, according to Us Weekly. "We've been able to reassemble all of the [rest of the] cast."

Prior to Sarandos' announcement, the twins reportedly declined a chance to appear on the Netflix series because they wanted to focus on their careers.

"Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family," executive producer Robert L. Boyett said in a May 2015 statement about the twins' involvement in the show. "It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards 'Fuller House.'"

"Fuller House" will be 13-episode reboot and will welcome back actors Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey Gladstone), Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler).

The show will follow D.J. Tanner, who is a widow living in San Francisco and trying to raise her two sons - rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and 7-year-old Max - while pregnant with her third child. Her younger sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy Gibbler will also move into the famous family home to help raise her children.

"It's a show that is very much in the spirit of the original," Sarandos said. "At the taping of the [first] episode this past week, when the cast shows up on stage the audience reacts immediately and the actors have fallen right back into the roles. It's very much in the same spirit but with a modern take on Full House."
