When Kristen Rhynehart walked into her daughter Addison's room to check on her, she was surprised to see her rescue dog Raven in the crib beside her.

Raven is seen in a video tucked under the blanket and was all cozy in Addison's crib as the little girl slept. Looks like Rhynehart doesn't need to worry about Addison anymore, because someone is already watching over her!

"That moment you can't find your dog and you even go outside looking for him ... only to walk in the house and find him snuggled up in bed next to your toddler," Rhynehart wrote in the video's description.

When she entered the room, Raven popped his head to check see who is entering and laid his head to rest again when he realized it was Rhynehart. This meant that the dog was indeed making sure that Addison was safe!

"People that say 'money can't buy happiness' have never paid an adoption fee. 10 years ago I left a rescue with this little guy and I often wonder ... who rescued who? I gave him a home, but he gave me so, so much more," Rhynehart said.

She also added that "RESCUED" is her favorite breed, saying, "Dogs have a way of finding the people that need them...filling an emptiness we didn't even know we had..."

The YouTube video was already viewed over half a million times. Viewers expressed how they found the dog's act sweet and adorable.

"Aww this is so cute and he is even under the covers with her," a comment from Brandy Brooks read. "They don't have to worry about anybody messing with her as long as he is around that is for sure. Most of the time dogs aren't mans best friend they are kids best friends and this just shows that."
