Taylor Swift and Jaime King are all about making huge announcements on Instagram. From being pregnant, to making Swift the godmother, to giving birth, King has let the public in on the important moments in her life through photos. Now, Swift has done the same thing as she meets her godson for the first time.

King, an actress and model, gave birth to her second son, Leo Thames, with her husband Kyle Newman on July 16, and as soon as Swift got a break from her 1989 World Tour, she quickly flew to Los Angeles to meet the baby, according to People.

"Meeting my boy," the 25-year-old singer captioned the photo of herself holding Leo Thames.

She then posted another photo of his tiny little fingers wrapped around her gold-glitter manicured hand. "'Your little hand's wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight,'" she captioned this shot. These are the sweet lyrics from her song "Never Grow Up."

King shared the same photo with her own heartwarming caption. "My loves meet," she wrote. "Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss."

In May, King announced that she had chosen Swift as her godmother and explained why she chose the superstar for the role. "She's such a beautiful human being. For me, in regards to a godparent...that is a really sacred thing. It's because of her morals and her values, the way that she treats people," she told People at the time. "I see what she gives out there to her fans and to her family. That's the kind of person I want to be the guide and spiritual protector of my child."
