Authorities in Seattle have discovered a badly decomposed body inside a suitcase - the second time since May.

A maintenance worker found a suitcase at an apartment complex in the SeaTac area at around 8:30 in the morning. The worker was suspicious so he called the police, who opened the bag and discovered the human remains, according to Reuters.

The condition of the body was so bad that it was beyond recognition and it would take a lot of time to determine its gender and approximate age, said Sgt. Stan Seo, the spokesperson for the police.

Seo added that the body will be taken to the King County Medical Examiner's Office for further examination, according to The Seattle Times.

A similar incident took place on May 20, when the body of a Caucasian woman believed to be in her 50s or 60s was found in the same city, at a park in Kent.

The woman was wearing an adult diaper, a purple short-sleeved shirt with flowers and wore full dentures that were not recovered, according to the New York Daily News.
