Brittney Griner filed to have her marriage to fellow WNBA player Glory Johnson annulled less than a month after the couple said "I do." Griner filed the annulment claiming that the union was based on "fraud and duress" and that Johnson pressured her into it. Griner also accused Johnson of cheating on her, reported TMZ.

Griner said she discovered in April that Johnson was texting one of her ex-boyfriends and she would had never have married Johnson if she suspected something was going on between her fiancée and the man, according to court documents obtained by USA Today Sports. The court documents also revealed that Griner recently discovered that the relations went past text messages and that Johnson was in a "sexual relationship with a man" while the couple was dating.

Along with Griner's claim that she was pressured into the marriage, she also contends that she was pressured into starting a family with Johnson, who announced she was having twins via in-vitro fertilization by donated sperm. A motion was filed by Johnson on June 29 that requested Griner pay $20,000 per month in spousal support in addition to a $10,000 advancement toward attorney fees; Griner has no biological relationship to the unborn children.

Both Griner and Johnson were suspended for seven games by the WNBA following their arrests from an April domestic dispute at their home. Earlier this year, Johnson said in an interview with the New York Times that she was not a lesbian, but she was attracted to Griner. "I'm not a lesbian," Johnson said. "But Brittney is different." In the same interview, Griner said, "Plus, Glory is straight. That was another reason why I thought this could end really bad." You thought right, Griner.
