Every day there seems to be new "information" about who's in the lead to play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey."

At one point model Cara Delevingne was rumored to be a frontrunner to get cast as the innocent college student but according to new reports she's out of the running.

According to the Daily Mail, Delevingne auditioned for the lead role but is not being considered for the part anymore. She could, however, be cast as a supporting character but it's not clear what part that could be.

"The lead role was something that was not offered," a source told The Sun newspaper.

According to the source, if Delevingne is offered a role in the movie this will be her first big screen acting gig for a high profile movie. The source also says that she really wants to be in the movie.

"It will be Cara's first big screen role, so she's really excited about it and is eager to make sure that she does a good job," the source said.

"Game of Thrones" actress Emilia Clarke has been a fan-favorite to play Christian Grey's love interest and the Daily Mail reports that she is now a frontrunner to get the part.

As far as who is in the lead to play the kinky billionaire, "Pacific Rim" hottie Charlie Hunnam is now the "it" man. According to Variety, Hunnam was already offered the role but turned it down because he didn't want to commit to doing a trilogy. Apparently after thinking it over he decided he does want the role and was supposed to have a meeting with executives to discuss the next steps.

The movie has been a given release date of August 1, 2014 and is scheduled to begin filming by the end of October. According to the Stir, fans can expect a casting decision within the next couple weeks. E.L. James and "Team 50" are reportedly going to officially announce the cast after Labor Day.
