Romance is in the air on the new season of “Agent Carter.” As the Marvel TV show shifts action to the West Coast, Peggy Carter will explore several relationship opportunities while Jarvis’ wife makes her on-screen debut.

“Agent Carter” showrunners Chris Dingess, Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas revealed a few spoilers for season two during the Marvel TV panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday. Jeph Loeb, the Head of Marvel TV, moderated the event that also included stars Hayley Atwell and James D’Arcy.

The period drama will switch coasts, moving from New York to Hollywood, when its returns to ABC in January. Carter (Atwell) will receive a call to help on a case in Los Angeles where her confidant Jarvis (D’Arcy) is helping his employer, Howard Stark, set up his new estate and a movie studio.

D’Arcy chimed in to ask if he would “get to meet his wife” after the show kept her presence strictly off-screen in season one. Fazekas confirmed the debut of Jarvis’ wife with a head nod.

As for Carter’s love life, the SSR agent will engage in a couple of new romances. She symbolically moved on from her first love, Steve “Captain America” Rogers, when she drained his last vial of blood off the Brooklyn Bride at the end of season one.

The show will jump ahead a few months to 1947, the same year that the famous Black Dahlia murder occurred in Los Angeles. Things will be a little different in L.A. and some people are no longer speaking to each other, the showrunners teased.

“Agent Carter” will return for its second season in January 2016 on ABC.
