Johnny Depp stayed in character while he surprised patients at a children's hospital, and the adorable kids went crazy over it! On Tuesday, Captain Jack Sparrow made some new friends at Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Australia, according to Us Weekly. The 52-year-old actor dressed up as his famous "Pirates of the Caribbean" character for the visit, and he was joined by his costar, Stephen Graham, who plays the pirate Scrum.

The actors had an amazing day as they spent time with not only the patients but also their families and the hospital staff as well. The Children's Hospital Foundation shared photos from the special day on its Facebook page.

"Two very famous pirates made a special surprise visit to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital last night," the post read. "Dressed in full costume, both Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Stephen Graham as Scrum spent over three hours making a real difference to the sick kids and their families."

The post went on to explain that they both flew in on a helicopter from the Gold Coast. They had taken time off from filming the newest "Pirates of the Carribean" film.

Juiced TV, which is a show made by the children being treated at the hospital, was there to capture the entire thing on film, according to Daily Mail. They posted the heartwarming video to Facebook writing, "Finally the wait is over! Thanks to the Children's Hospital Foundation, hospital staff and security teams for creating such an amazing memory for all!"

Max Bennet, who was one of the children that got to take part in this amazing experience, was eating dinner with his mom Rachel when the helicopter landed on the roof of the hospital, according to ABC.

"He was going from room to room seeing all the kids who couldn't get out of bed," Rachel said about Depp. "We waited out of the front of one of the rooms, and he came up to us and had a really good chat to Max. It was really beautiful. Everyone kept on trying to move him on, but he kept on coming back [to be with the kids]."
