Taco Bell is lauching a delivery service today in certain markets in a partnership with the startup delivery company DoorDash.

Delivery will be initially available in more than 90 cities and more than 200 restaurants around Los Angeles, Orange County, Calif., San Francisco and Dallas, according to USA Today.

"We're testing and learning at the speed of the on-demand economy. We're thrilled to partner with DoorDash and leverage their like-minded commitment to customer service and innovation. This partnership enables us to provide consistent quality service and the feedback we need to elevate the delivery experience and evaluate where Taco Bell delivery goes next," said Tressie Lieberman, VP of Innovation and On Demand at Taco Bell, according to CBS Dallas affiliate CBS DFW.

Pricing and delivery costs may vary, depending on the location of the restaurant.

In order to use this service, customers will punch in their order on DoorDash's app or website and then DoorDash will put in the order at the closest Taco Bell, pick it up and drive it to your home or office. The app will also notify customers when the DoorDash driver is nearing the designated location.

There's no minimum order, but an additional $3.99 flat fee is required for the service (customers are also encouraged to tip the driver).

The Taco Bell announcement comes on the heels of several other fast-food giants making forays into the delivery world. Last year Starbucks talked about a delivery service app due later this year, and Dunkin' Donuts is testing a new delivery platform that may begin rolling out to the public in 2016.
