A teen and a boy stranded on some rocks for more than an hour at the Little Androscoggin River in Maine were rescued by a drone.

After a dangerous current knocked the pair off a rafting tube, they were stuck in the rushing waters and only one of stranded tubers was wearing a life jacket.

Auburn Fire Chief Frank Roma normally uses his drone to take photos but was able to use it to deliver a life jacket to the boy who didn't have a life jacket - all while capturing this video.

"We used the drone to fly a tag line out to the young man that was on the rock, we instructed him to untie and to pull a life jacket over to him," said Roma, according to WHNT News.

When both boys were safely in lifejackets, two rescuers paddled out to them rescuing the young boy first and then the teenager, AP reported.

None of the boys were injured during the incident.
